Selma Blair Arrested After In-Flight Disturbance

Actress Selma Blair was arrested on Sunday following an alleged in-flight disturbance on a Delta flight from Los Angeles to New York. The incident reportedly involved Blair, 54, assaulting flight attendants and attempting to open the aircraft door mid-flight.

According to reports, Blair was taken into custody by the New York Port Authority Police Department at JFK Airport after the plane landed. The authorities responded to a call about a physically abusive passenger identified as Blair around 11 p.m. ET.

Blair allegedly punched one flight attendant and bit another during the altercation. The situation escalated when she reportedly tried to open the plane door while the aircraft was in the air. Following the incident, Blair was transported to a hospital for evaluation.

Two Delta Airlines staff members reported injuries from the altercation. One of the flight attendants' injuries was serious enough to require hospital evaluation.

Blair's representative has stated that she suffered a 'medical emergency' during the flight, which may have contributed to the incident.

The FBI is currently investigating the matter to determine the circumstances surrounding the alleged assault and attempted door opening. As of now, no charges have been announced, and Blair's legal status remains pending further investigation. The actress is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
