President Donald J. Trump has returned to Texas, highlighting a series of economic and security achievements that have significantly impacted the state. Under his administration, Texas has seen substantial tax relief, a decrease in crime rates, and a surge in private investments, according to a recent report from the White House.

Tax Relief and Economic Growth

The Working Families Tax Cuts, a cornerstone of Trump's economic policy, has been pivotal in providing financial relief to Texans. The initiative has resulted in approximately one in four Texas workers no longer paying federal income taxes on qualifying overtime pay. Additionally, about four million Texas seniors benefit from a new senior deduction, contributing to average tax refunds of $4,344 for Texas taxpayers, the second-highest in the nation.

The tax cuts have also safeguarded 547,000 jobs in Texas, protecting $107 billion in state GDP and $51 billion in workers' wages. Furthermore, Texas secured $281 million in first-year funding from the Rural Health Transformation Program, enhancing healthcare access in rural areas.

Safer Streets and Secure Borders

Trump's law-and-order agenda has reportedly led to a significant reduction in crime across Texas. Violent crime fell by 13% last year, with murder and rape rates dropping by 13% and 11%, respectively. The top 25 most populous jurisdictions in Texas reported lower overall crime rates compared to the previous year. Notably, Arlington saw a 60% reduction in homicides in the first half of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025.

On the border security front, the Trump Administration claims to have ended the "Biden-era border crisis," with no illegal aliens released at the border for 16 consecutive months. Southern border apprehensions in August were reportedly 94% lower than the monthly average under the previous administration. Texas is set to receive $7.5 billion from the State Border Security Reinforcement Fund to offset costs incurred during the Biden administration.

Investment Surge

Texas has experienced a boom in private investment, driven by Trump's pro-growth policies. Major companies have announced significant investments in the state, creating thousands of jobs. Notable projects include SpaceX's $16.

8 billion investment in a semiconductor fabrication plant in Grimes County and Toyota's $3. 6 billion investment at its San Antonio campus, expected to create 2,000 jobs.

Other significant investments include Bristol Myers Squibb's $2. 3 billion manufacturing campus in Houston, Toyo Co.' s $357 million solar cell facility near Houston, and Saronic's $3.

2 billion shipyard in Brownsville. Additionally, Tesla announced a $3 billion investment in a research chip facility at its Giga Texas campus.

These developments underscore the Trump Administration's focus on fostering economic growth and enhancing security in Texas, with policies that have reportedly led to substantial benefits for the state's workers, families, and businesses.
