According to an initial, single report, Ukraine's steel production is facing severe disruptions due to ongoing attacks. The prominent steel factory, Zaporizhstal, which is a major employer in Zaporizhzhia with 8,500 workers, has ceased operations indefinitely. This shutdown follows a series of targeted attacks, with two occurring in August and two in September. For years, Denys Maksyshko has dedicated his work to Zaporizhstal, a key economic pillar in the region, now left in uncertainty.
