NASA and SpaceX Gear Up for 35th ISS Resupply Launch

SpaceX's Falcon 9 is set to deliver critical research and equipment to the ISS this October.

NASA has invited media to cover SpaceX's 35th commercial resupply mission to the International Space Station. Scheduled for launch no earlier than October, the Falcon 9 rocket will launch the Dragon spacecraft from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. This mission will transport approximately 6,500 pounds of science, supplies, and equipment. Onboard will be the final sets of ISS Roll-Out Solar Arrays to boost station power, hardware for manufacturing artificial retinas in microgravity, and materials for studying a new type of glass. Dragon will also carry brain organoids to support research into neurodegenerative disease treatments. U.S. media can apply for accreditation until October 1.
