Governor Abbott Appoints Members to Trinity River Authority Board

New appointments and reappointments to the board will oversee water resource management.

Governor Greg Abbott has announced a series of appointments to the Trinity River Authority Board of Directors. This move includes new appointees Rich Lavinski, Steve Barksdale, Tyler Jackson, and Martin Black, each set to serve until March 15, 2027. Bruce Bynum, Charles Sartain, and Whit Wolman also join the board. Additionally, Abbott reappointed Lewis McMahan, Jeff Bradley, and Cary 'Cole' Camp, extending their terms to March 15, 2029. The board is responsible for the development and conservation of surface water resources in the Trinity River Basin.
