New and returning board members will oversee water resource management for the Trinity River Basin.

Governor Greg Abbott announces appointments to the Trinity River Authority Board of Directors. Rich Lavinski, Steve Barksdale, Tyler Jackson, and Martin Black are appointed with terms expiring in 2027. Joining them for longer terms, until 2029, are new appointees Bruce Bynum, Charles Sartain, and Whit Wolman, along with returning members Lewis McMahan, Jeff Bradley, and Cary 'Cole' Camp. These individuals bring diverse expertise from finance, insurance, energy, and environmental sectors to guide the development and conservation efforts for the Trinity River Basin.
