COSI Detector Assembled for Gamma-Ray Exploration

On July 8, 2026, the COSI detector assembly was lifted from its table, marking a key step in its mission. COSI, a wide-field gamma-ray telescope, is set to study high-energy cosmic phenomena within the Milky Way and beyond.
