Operation Klean Strip Shuts Down Meth Labs in California

Authorities dismantled major methamphetamine operations in Bakersfield and Visalia.

U.S. authorities have successfully concluded Operation Klean Strip, which dismantled two large clandestine methamphetamine conversion labs in Bakersfield and Visalia. This operation, which kicked off in November 2025 and wrapped up today, resulted in the arrest of nine individuals. Agents executed sixteen search warrants, leading to the seizure of massive quantities of illegal substances and weapons. Seized items included 4,000 marijuana plants, $20,000 in drug proceeds, and twenty firearms. Earlier in the operation, agents confiscated 2,171 pounds of crystal methamphetamine and hundreds of gallons of methamphetamine.
