From Marine Mechanic to NASA Intern: Jaden Caradine's Journey

Jaden Caradine's early love for engineering led him from the Marines to NASA's Langley Research Center.

Jaden Caradine's passion for engineering began at just eight years old. Growing up near Salt Lake City, his fascination with science's practical uses was fostered by his early start on a snowboard at four. After high school, he enlisted as a mechanic in the United States Marine Corps, where he spent five years honing his skills. Four of those years were stationed in Japan, where he delved into books on decision-making and career planning. Now, Jaden is applying his technical expertise as a Pathways intern at NASA's Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia, fulfilling a dream that started in his childhood.
