Sources & editorial policy

TradepilotUSA Fire covers incidents, safety, weather and firefighting technology worldwide. Reports include original-source links and timestamps. Government and fire authorities control structured incident facts. Established media reports add context and do not override official facts.

Attribution and accuracy

A source-reported point is not a fire boundary. Hotspots do not establish an incident or evacuation order. Missing information stays unknown. Warnings show their expiry, and historical reports remain available after updates stop. Feed failures never imply that an area is safe.

Automated summaries are grounded in attributed source material. Media items are labeled as reports, and incident facts are published only from authoritative structured data. Non-English source material remains linked in its original form; emergency instructions are not automatically translated. Advertisements appear after safety information and are labeled separately.

NWS state feeds share one organization and do not count as independent corroboration. Candidate sources are enabled only after their machine-readable endpoints pass validation. Polling and retry intervals respect source health and rate limits.
