An atmospheric river system will continue to bring multiple rounds of moderate to heavy rainfall to the area, with an additional 1.0 to 1.5 inches through Friday morning. Localized higher amounts are possible due to terrain effects. Overall the moderate to heavy rainfall is expected to persist through the morning hours before starting to diminish later this morning. Montana Creek and Jordan Creek are expected to reach bankfull Friday morning, after these rounds of heavy rainfall. Other creeks and rivers in the Juneau area will still see rises through this morning, however no flooding is anticipated for other streams at this time.
