For the Shoal River...including Crestview...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Shoal River near Crestview. * WHEN...Until Tuesday evening. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Residential flooding in the Trevor Court area. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 9.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.5 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 8.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
