Tampa Man Charged in Federal Crimes Against Minors

Juan Miguel Angel faces serious charges related to attempted offenses involving a minor.

In Tampa, 33-year-old Juan Miguel Angel has been officially charged with serious federal offenses involving a minor. Angel is facing one count of attempted enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity, along with four counts of attempting to transfer obscene material to a minor. If convicted of the enticement charge, Angel could receive a minimum of ten years and up to a life sentence in federal prison. Each count of transferring obscene material carries a maximum penalty of ten years. This announcement was made by United States Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe.
