Lindsay Clancy and her legal team appeared in court on Tuesday for the first hearing since her trial for the alleged murder of her three children ended in a mistrial. Her attorney contended that the prosecution failed to prove her guilt, and argued that declaring a mistrial was inappropriate. A mistrial was announced on September 4th when a single juror prevented a unanimous verdict. Despite this, Clancy's lawyers stated that a retrial would constitute double jeopardy.
