MP Chris Malette and Chief R. Donald Maracle have announced a significant federal investment of over sixty-six million dollars directed towards extending the watermain in Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory. This initiative is an effort to ensure that the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte have reliable access to safe drinking water. The funding comes through the Direct Delivery stream of the Build Communities Strong Fund, underscoring the commitment to improving essential infrastructure in the area.
