12 Charged in $10M Childcare Fraud Scheme

A dozen individuals are now facing federal fraud charges for their roles in a scheme involving over ten million dollars meant for low-income families' childcare. Authorities revealed these funds had been funneled to bogus daycare providers. Early Thursday morning, a coordinated operation involving over two hundred fifty officers led to the arrests of all twelve defendants. Law enforcement simultaneously executed twelve search warrants at homes in San Diego.
