Legal, Privacy & Sales Representative Terms

Independent Contractor Relationship

All Sales Representatives operate as independent contractors on a commission-only basis. This Agreement does not create an employer-employee relationship, partnership, joint venture, franchise, or agency relationship. There is no hourly wage, salary, base pay, or guaranteed earnings, and there is no cost to participate.

Sales Representatives are solely responsible for their own business activities, marketing, expenses, taxes, licensing, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Products You May Promote

Custom porch swings, custom doors, SlideDrive™, and any other Doorplace USA product Doorplace USA explicitly approves for the program.

Porch Swings

• Porch swing orders you enter in your Sales Rep Dashboard earn 12% of the swing selling price plus eligible accessories.
• You choose the customer's selling price, up to 60% above the approved DoorPlace base price. The order form shows the maximum and will not accept a higher price.
• No minimum commission and no residual or repeat-purchase commission.
• A porch swing a customer orders from DoorPlace through your tracked link (DoorPlace quotes it) earns a flat $100 referral commission.

Optional swing add-ons such as cup holders, paint, ropes, mattresses, stands and wood upgrades are accessories and count toward the 12%. Installation, delivery, shipping and taxes do not.

Custom Doors

• Share your tracked DoorPlace link. DoorPlace USA handles the consultation, the custom quote, pricing, lead times and installation pricing.
• Sales Reps never quote, price or enter custom door orders, and never promise lead times or installation pricing.
• Commission: 5% of the door product subtotal, minimum $100, maximum $500.
• Sales tax, shipping, delivery, installation/labor and unrelated products or services are not part of the commission basis.

SlideDrive™

• SlideDrive™ has a fixed DoorPlace price and can be bought directly online. No markup and no quoting.
• Commission: 5% of the SlideDrive product subtotal (tax and shipping excluded) when the customer's payment succeeds.

Referral Attribution

• The first qualified Sales Rep link a new customer uses is credited for 30 days. Another rep's link does not replace it during those 30 days.
• New customers only: existing DoorPlace customers and people already working with DoorPlace on an active lead do not qualify.
• No self-referrals: orders for yourself or your own household do not earn commission.
• Uncertain cases are reviewed by DoorPlace before any commission is credited.

Attribution is recorded through your tracked links (which carry your Sales Rep ID). Links you shared before an ID change keep working.

When Commission Is Earned and Paid

• A commission becomes payable when DoorPlace receives the customer's payment (the required deposit or full payment).
• DoorPlace USA pays you separately through Melio within 24–36 hours after that customer payment is received. TradePilot shows your commissions and their status; it does not send money.
• If an order is cancelled, refunded (fully or partly) or charged back, the commission is recalculated. If it was already paid, the difference is recorded as a negative balance that comes out of your next commissions. DoorPlace never withdraws money from your bank account.
• A quote request alone does not earn a commission. The customer must buy and DoorPlace must receive payment.

There is no minimum commission on swing orders you enter and no residual or repeat-purchase commission. Discretionary bonuses, when offered, are optional and not guaranteed.

Use of Branding & Marketing Materials

Sales Representatives may use Doorplace USA’s approved logos, marketing assets, and materials solely to promote Doorplace USA products. Unauthorized reproduction, modification, resale, or misuse of brand assets is prohibited.

Professionalism & Confidentiality

Sales Representatives agree to represent Doorplace USA professionally and follow all brand, pricing, and communication guidelines. Never quote, price or promise lead times or installation pricing for custom doors; Doorplace USA does that.

Pricing details, internal dashboards, and platform data are confidential and intended only for active Sales Representatives.

Privacy & Data Security

Doorplace USA collects and uses Sales Representative and customer information solely for platform access, order processing, commission tracking, and business operations, using platforms including TradepilotUSA, Supabase, Google Workspace, Stripe and Melio.

Termination

Either party may end participation with written notice. Doorplace USA may suspend or revoke access for misuse, misconduct, brand violations, or non-compliance. Commissions already earned under these terms remain subject to the adjustment rules above.

Updates & Modifications

Doorplace USA may revise this Agreement. Updated terms require renewed digital acceptance for continued participation.
