Where this data comes from, and its limits

Data source

Every figure on the Agent Commerce Intelligence page comes from Coinbase's own public CDP Bazaar discovery API -- a free, unauthenticated, first-party endpoint that lists x402-payable services and each one's self-reported 30-day usage. We do not scrape third-party dashboards for this data; we read the facilitator's own public listing directly.

What counts as a "service"

Any resource CDP's discovery endpoint returns: a URL, a description, an x402 payment requirement (network, asset, price), and a rolling 30-day call count and unique-payer count as reported by the facilitator. We do not independently verify that a listed service is live, safe, or operated by who its domain implies.

What "observed 30-day calls" and "unique payers" mean

These are the facilitator's own self-reported rolling 30-day figures for each listed service, refreshed whenever we last ran our ingest (see the timestamp on the market page -- this is a periodic snapshot, never labeled "live"). They are a real usage signal, but they are not independently audited, and we cannot confirm every call represents a genuinely autonomous AI agent rather than a human, a test script, or repeated internal testing by the service's own operator.

What this does not include

This dataset does not include individual on-chain settlement records -- no transaction hash, no block number, no per-transaction buyer wallet. Building that would require either a paid blockchain-indexing provider or a custom chain RPC indexer watching Base, Solana, and other networks directly; we have not built or paid for that yet. Nothing on this page should be read as a claim about specific transactions, specific wallets, or specific dollar amounts settled on-chain.

Category classification

Each service is assigned one demand category (search, SEO, company enrichment, blockchain/RPC, and so on) by a keyword heuristic run against its URL and description. This is a best-effort derived label, not something the listed provider confirmed. A service can be miscategorized, especially if its description is generic or omitted.

What a "provider" is

We group services by domain (the hostname of the service URL). A domain is not a verified legal entity or company -- we do not claim to know who operates a given domain beyond what is publicly resolvable from the URL itself.

Data freshness

The current snapshot was ingested Sep 23, 2026, 2:07 PM, covering 16,597 services. Ingestion runs periodically, not continuously -- this page will always state its snapshot time rather than imply real-time data.
